Press Release: Greg Reed Says Corridor X Completion a Dream Come True
“The long-awaited Interstate 22 connecting Birmingham to Memphis is a dream come true for this part of Alabama. Good transportation opens doors for economic development and jobs for our area. Getting I-65 linked to Corridor X, soon to be I-22, will bring the potential for growth to this entire part of the state,” Mr. Reed said. “When elected to the Senate, I will work to make sure we attract business and new jobs to District 5. I-22 will be a magnet for doing just that,” he added.
Senate District 5 is comprised of all of Walker and parts of Tuscaloosa, Winston and Jefferson Counties.
Greg and his wife, the former Mitsy Harbison, are natives of Cordova, Alabama. They have been married for 22 years and have three sons.
