Press Release: ALABAMA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® ENDORSE REED FOR STATE SENATE
Reed served as the Chairman of the Walker County Republican Party for four years in 1997, and Senior Vice Chairman of the Alabama State Republican Party for eight years 2000. As a leader in the Republican Party, his focus was the grassroots organizations and promoting the parties conservative principles.
Reed is the current Vice President of Preferred Medical Systems, an exclusive representative of diagnostic medical ultrasound systems in six states for General Electric Healthcare. Reed has been married for 21 years to wife, Misty, and have three sons, Andrew and James, 15, and John Michael, 13. Reed is active in the Jasper Rotary Club and Paul Harris Fellow Rotarian, as well as teaching young adult Sunday school, with Misty, at the First Baptist Church of Jasper.
“Greg Reed is an energetic and level headed individual,” said Executive Vice President JDanny Cooper. “He will be a clean, strong voice in Montgomery to end politics as usual. We know he will safeguard private property rights.”
District 5 includes Walker county and portions of Jefferson, Tuscaloosa and Winston counties.
